European literature has been divided into the modules enumerated below. Candidates applying for the job in the project are invited to submit research proposals of the study of litanic verse in one or more modules.
Every module has one language ascribed to it. In the case of the modules in which no specific time period is given the proposal of the study of litanic verse should cover the period from the Middle Ages to the 1930s. The Latin modules encompass the period from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. In the table not all European languages are included. Polish poetry has already been analysed, while the English-language literature from the time after the Middle Ages is currently the object of study of the leader of the project. In the case of all other languages, not mentioned in the table, the number of realisations of litanic verse is too low to constitute a separate research object.
